Does not work on a Mac, or Windows 10s and 11s (these only can run applications from the Windows Store)

Download Janus 6.1

For Janus 6.0 users upgrading, some of the settings have been changed in Janus 6.1

Before updating, we recommend that you take a note of any important custom settings and presets you may have created in your version of Janus so that you can replicate them in Janus 6.1. You will also need to re-set your local place, date format etc in General in the Settings menu.

Janus 6.1 Installation instructions

If you have issues downloading or complaints from your anti-virus software, please click on the following PDF for applicable instructions:

Norton Antivirus users:

When you click the Download Janus 6.1 button, you will see a progress box on the top right-hand corner of your browser window.

When the download is completed, click Open File to start the Janus program installer.

If the progress box does not appear, please follow these instructions to install Janus:

  • Close your browser window.
  • Click File Explorer on your computer’s task bar and select the Downloads folder.
  • Double-click the file called Install_Janus_6.1.exe to start the Janus installer.
